Lifting For The Long Haul Of Life - Presentation & Clinic at TFW Longmont
Join Dr. Michael Morrison, physical therapist and running coach, for this special event!
We all want to live a long life that is truly lived and not survived.
We want to crash through whatever finish line our life may give us, not limp there.
We believe that movement is medicine, and strength training is likely the most important of those medicines.
However, as with all medication, the poison is in the dose.
Come learn about how to dose your lifting appropriately for tendon health vs. muscle strength vs. bone health vs. power to tackle that low commode when you are 90 years old.
Come ready to learn and move and lift some load safely and confidently as you move through seasons of the long haul of life!

The Murph Challenge is not just a physical test, but also a mental and emotional one.
Participants are pushed to their limits and are encouraged to keep pushing through the pain and exhaustion, just as Lieutenant Murphy did during his final moments.
The event is held annually on Memorial Day, and people from all over the world come together to honor Lieutenant Murphy and all those who have given their lives in service to our country.
The Murph Challenge is a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by our military and a testament to the strength and resilience of the human spirit.
The event is free to participate in, though donations to TheMurphChallenge.com are greatly appreciated.

It's more than just a workout...
It's a tradition that helps push us, humble us, and allows us the opportunity to dedicate a bit of pain and sweat to honor LT. Michael P. Murphy (SEAL), a man who sacrificed everything he had for our freedom.
Join us this year as we continue to help keep his legacy alive through The Murph Challenge campaign.
TFW Longmont is an Official Host, whereby you can register and compete in the nationwide challenge.
All fitness levels are able to participate. Variations of the official workout will be provided.

Low Back and Hip Clinic with Dr. Will Trujillo
Come and spend an interactive evening trouble shooting the function of your low back and hips to maximize your time in the gym. We will go through an interactive screen to help you understand any limitations in your personal function. Following that we will go through some examples of drills and activities you can do on your own to help you improve your gym performance immediately. We will also have some time for Q+A regarding anything presented in the clinic
About Dr. Will -- Will Trujillo is a nationally board certified orthopedic physical therapist. He has specific training in movement screening, exercise prescription, and sports dry needling. He has been lucky enough to work with both competitive athletes at the highest level, as well as motivated gym goers to help alleviate pain and limitations.

A long-time practitioner, Christa intuitively understands her patients but also takes the time to get to know their needs and goals. Learn how she can help you with fibroids, periods and becoming pregnant.
YOUTH STRENGTH & CONDITIONING
Advance your young athlete with focused strength, power, neuromuscular, and proprioceptive training. Develop response and control mechanisms beyond what is trained on the field, court, or track. TFW trainining conditions athletes for the highest level of performance while reducing risk of injury.

Nutritional guidance is a major part of 101 Nutrition and Body Composition as we focus on FAT LOSS and MUSCLE GAIN.
TFW Running Club
Join Warrior Susan and Coach Kristy for TFW Longmont Run Club…participate to improve your running ability or with the goal to crush your Shoes & Brews Sole Mates 5K on Saturday, November 6, 2021. Follow a Novice, Intermediate or Advanced program; run individually or with your TFW Run Club!
Introductory meeting is Saturday, September 11th at 9 am. (Not required, but encouraged to attend so you know all the details and meet your fellow runners!)
